UI Designer As a User Interface(UI) designer you will be responsible for creating interfaces that are aesthetically beautiful and functionally effective, being the brains behind the beauty and interactivity of a website.
User interface (UI) designers work closely with user experience (UX) designers and other design specialists to plan and execute everything from the choice of color palettes to the interaction of a drop down menu. They make sure that every page and every step a user will experience in their interaction with the finished product will conform to the overall vision created by UX designers.
Students who have passed 10+2 (any stream- Science, Commerce or Humanities and Arts) from a recognized board are eligible to pursue their career in UI designing. However an orientation in Computer Science will be useful.
Take a Bachelor’s degree in UI & Graphics design which is of 3 years duration.
Integrated Masters in design programs and Diploma courses are also available.
Take Masters in designing which is of 2 year duration.
PG diploma/ various certification courses are available

UI designers must possess strong communication skills to convey product ideas, explain thinking behind designs, and work with other teams.So in order to create, collaborate, adapt, and improve products and systems with ease effective communication skills are highly required.
UI designers need to incorporate the ideas of developers, clients, and team members they are supposed to possess good team skills. They also need to effectively give and receive feedback, explore solutions.
An excellent UI designer must possess strong technological skills as they need to deal with numerous softwares and editing tools on a daily basis.
UI designers are problem-solvers, so a natural knack for both creative and critical thinking will make it much easier to come up with design solutions.
They attend strategic business meetings, deliver presentations, write business cases, and are responsible for a host of other responsibilities. As a designer, you must, therefore, possess business skills
UI designers always need to visualize real data and real information in a way that is functional and easy on the eye.
