How to become an Information Systems Manager?

Step 1
Take Science stream with Computer Science at +2 level

To be eligible for BCA, mathematics is an important criterion. Taking computer science would give you an advantage in admission for degree program.

Step 2
Take B. Tech/B.Sc. in Computer Science or BCA

Taking BCA or BTech CS would make you eligible for further studies in Information Systems Management.. BCA is a 3 year course and BTech is a 4 years course.Admission requirements may vary depending on the institutions.


Note:Dual Degree

You can also do a dual degree (Integrated B Tech and M Tech) in Computer Science.

Step 3
Take M Tech/M.Sc. in Computer Science or MCA

MCA (Master of Computer Application ) and M. Tech in CS ( Computer Science ) are 2 years course. Most of the institutions have entrance tests in the admission process.

  • A relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • English Proficiency: in a minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL or an overall minimum score of 6.5 (and all sub-scores of 5.5 or above in IELTS
  • GMAT/GRE scores stand a higher chance of consideration and admission.
